ABOUT
Education just seems to be in my blood. My grandmother, mother, father, sister, brother, niece and sister-in-law have all been educators. Mine began in the business world as I trained adults, wrote curriculum, created department procedures and helped develop successful staff. Around 2010 I began volunteering in the elementary school in our neighborhood. For several years I tutored in both public & private schools. To improve my craft I went back to school at the age of 60 for a Florida K-6 teaching certificate. Then I obtained TEFL certification from two different companies. Over the years I have taught more than 6,000 lessons. Of that number, over 2,500 were ESOL and over 2,000 were online. I have been privileged to help students from across the U.S. and overseas, such as Spain, Great Britain, and China.
